Oink! Oink!

I thought I would share a picture of one of my pigs today. It is one of my many collections. On the base rests a campaign button from the Eisenhower presidency that I found at a yard sale a few years back and scored for a whopping quarter! Hey, hey big spender!

Blogging and hobbies often suffer during the summer months with school being out, family vacations, yard work and all this on top of life's every day chores.
I did manage to pull one of the charts from my stash to start on. I will wait until I have a little more done to post a picture and leave it as a surprise until then as to which one I am working on but it was in yesterday's picture! It seems as though there has been alot of startitis among stitchers lately and I just may take Kathy's advice and work on one several day then start another and so on until they all have my attention and I will probably be pulling my hair out! lol.

So until next time, may you have simple days and an uncluttered heart! Come back and see me soon!

I like pigs too! One of my kids once had a teacher who collected pigs. I'm looking forward to seeing what you've started. :D And to see whether you become a rotation stitcher as you say.

Cute pig. My Mom was a pig collector. In the letters she left us all she was very explict that we each had to take one of the pigs as a rememberance. LOL I still have a shelf in the china cabinet loaded. :)
Oh, about the rotation. Nothing to feel guilty about. 2 or 3 days on each one. It really does work and is a stress free way to start as many as you like. (Now remember I didn't say 2 or 3 days a week. If you start enough it could be 2 or 3 days a year! LOL)

Don't let my hubby see that. He'd love it. He used to raise them in Iowa.

I love collecting and your pig collection sounds fun. Anxious to see your new start and how you do with a rotation.

EEEEEK! A rotation! That scares the bajeezus out of me! But I have so many I want to start too...so I can see how starting several may be beneficial! I don't think I could ever do a set rotation (i.e. I will work on BOAF on Tuesdays and Thursdays) etc. because some days I just really don't FEEL like 'heavy' stitching and would rather work on something quick and smallish! But I have no problem starting a few! I seem to have a small, medium and BAP project going...and hop around. Can't wait to see which one you've decided to start! :o)
