Catching up

I feel that I have neglected my poor ol' blog really bad lately! First of all, I want to thank everyone who has stopped by and left notes wishing me well.

My eyes have finally stopped bothering me so much and feeling all dried out. I stopped stitching for awhile to see if that was the culprit and it looks like I was right. Too much close up work. I can't bear the thought of giving up my stitching again so soon after rediscovering it so I will live with the alternative of just cutting back!

I got back the results on my most recent blood test and it says that my thyroid levels are PERFECT which means I still don't need to start the meds. Normally that would be something to be thrilled about but if I am doing so great, how come I have been feeling so rotten! I literally broke down and cried when I got the news! The doctors all keep telling me "you will feel so much better when you start the medicine" but they won't let me start because of my "perfect" blood tests!

On the brighter side, I did get out today with my camera to enjoy the birds! Winter birdwatching is definitely different from warmer months. More of a challenge but just as much fun.

How come there is no pics of birds up here?

It's good that your bloodwork came out good, I am for not taking meds. I hope there is something that will help you feel better. It is good to hear from you though.

Hello,

I hope you don't mind. You been randomly tagged for meme at my blog - Pillows and Chocolate". Blame it on your love of "It's a Wonderful Life".

Have a great day.

Sherry, I love how you look on the bright side. I hope you can find something that will give you relief from feeling so crummy. Can't wait to see the bird photos. I would love a little 'winter' bird watching. Here we have 'hot-as-blazes bird watching' and 'not-so-hot-as-blazes bird watching.'

Awww Sherry...I feel so badly for you. No thyroid medicine and having to cut back on stitching. Dear me...that's a lot to take. Please know that you are in my prayers and thoughts and I hope everything evens out soon!

Would you be good enough to please send me an email for you? I wanted to 'talk' coffee makers and it didn't seem appropriate for here. :-)

Thanks. Marne

So what did they say is wrong if not your thyroid? How frustrating for you! I'm glad your eyes are feeling better. Don't worry about neglecting your blog for a while. We will still be here when you get back!
