What the?

Amazing things really do happen!

First of all, this is my second blog post this week! I used to post every other day so this seems like old times!

Second, how many of you on the east coast felt that earthquake yesterday? Weird! At least for our part of the country!

Third and last but not least, alot of us along the eastern coastline are getting ready for Hurricane Irene. She originally was going to make landfall and possibly come inland like Hugo did. Now they are saying that she made a turn eastward and we may just get a few storms but her arrival is not due here until this weekend so she has plenty of time to change her mind if she wants. And she is a woman (of sorts).

So far now, we are just hanging out and waiting to see what happens next.

My son is in DC and he called me after the earthquake. I think he was kinda of excited about it but it could have been fear also. He's only lived there a couple of months now and this will be his first hurricane experience also. Hopefully she'll will decide not to come ashore! Hang in there!

Yup, felt the earthquake -- up here north of NYC. Pretty amazing! Irene has everyone nervous I think. NY is even threatened. Don't need more rain. Sigh.

Hi Sherry!
I tried to find your email address to no avail. Can you email me at kentuckysampler @ gmail .com ?

My DIL said she felt it in PA but of course I didn't while here in TN.

Sending thoughts and prayers to all those in the path of the oncoming storm! :o)

I'm in NY and just posted about both the quake and Irene on my blog. I felt it in NY. Very weird feeling I'll tell you. And a first for me. As for irene. I know we here in NY are way overdue for a biggie but I do hope Irienen waits until late Sunday to strike.

If you are in Irene's path s
tay dry and safe.

My thoughts/prayers are with you Sherry while Irene makes her move!! We are awaiting a Super typhoon out where I live, to hit mid week next week,so I guess mother nature is just totally using the planet as her personal play thing this week!!
