November is National Hospice & Palliative Care Month.
This year’s theme, “Preserving a Legacy… Treasuring Memories,” reminds us that hospice and palliative care brings comfort, dignity and peace to help people live every moment of life to the fullest, leaving loved ones with memories they can treasure. It takes a special person to work in Hospice. The people that were there for my Dad and our family were so thoughtful and wonderful.

I didn't know about this. You're so right -- it takes a special person to work in hospice. Thank God for them!
They are angels that walk amongst us. And definitely unsung heros. The job they do,few could handle emotionally and mentally. May God bless them! I know they brought comfort not only to my Grandmother and Aunt during the last days of their life here on earth, but the sunshine and positivity helped brighten my Mom's day when they came each day.
I have never heard anything but wonderful things about hospice. I shudder at that word, but thank the Good Lord for those special people.
